Renaissanceはニュージーランドの2つの大きな島の南側の北端にあるMarlborough（マールボロ、ですかね？）にある醸造所とのこと。

このMarlboroughはワインで有名なところのようで、そのワインに負けないビールを作るというのが信条のようです。

さて、Porter Aleの感想を

香 : コーヒーのような香りとチョコレートのような香りがします。甘目です。
味 : 甘く、とても強くコクが感じられます、砂糖をたくさん入れたエスプレッソのような感じです。苦さは少な目です。
のど越し : コクが強い割に滑らかなのど越しです。コーヒーのような香りが口の中に長く残ります。

非常においしいビールです。他の種類も飲み比べてみたいですね。
